Works well, but garbage in, garbage out.
Im very pleased. But recongize this will not work well with EVERY photograph. Not even every GREAT photograph. Youll need something suitable to the task: something fairly simplistic and clear. A photo with lots of different things going on, heavily detailed, without a real center of focus, will just look even worse because of the overdone graphic filters. Remember that your photo must be something that should be in the comics (or a newspaper photo) to look genuine as comics or newspaper.
That said, great variety in satandard settings, so theres plenty of opportunity to fine-tune (or mess up) your creative genius. Easy to use right out the box; I didnt read a word of instruction and dove right in.
If I could add photos, Id show examples of great and not-so. Sorry, but youre on your own.
Have fun. I am.
Oh, and saving an image? File/save photo. Not that difficult. But did, though increase the file size almost 2fold with no change in image size.
